Further to my call earlier today, I wanted to take a moment to write something to you to say how grateful I am for the help, advice and support you have given me over the last 2 months. I was at my wits end when we first spoke having received a NIP stating that a prosecution was being considered against me for the very serious sounding offence of Dangerous Driving As a professional driver who would almost certainly lose my job, career and everything I have worked so hard for over the last 12 years, and having no experience of the legal system and how it works; to say I was terrified would be an understatement. Your advice, patience and time – all given freely and sympathetically – helped keep me sane throughout what has been a nightmarish experience.

I contacted 4 firms in all that day and count myself very lucky indeed that you were one of them.  The difference was immediately apparent and coming across such an obviously committed, sincere and caring individual was I confess a little unexpected and a huge relief. For any prospective client that may read this I would like you to know that the blurb on this website is not empty marketing… one firm I spoke to that day had an office junior return my call, who was neither knowledgeable nor interested in my situation, another wanted almost £50 from me just to speak to a solicitor on the phone!  Steve on the other hand returned my call personally, listened patiently and offered sensible, calming advice from someone who very clearly knew what they were talking about.  Money was never mentioned and over a 2 month period Steve and I spoke extensively by telephone on several occasions – every time I got sound advice, helpful information and moral support, given freely and generously. The story has a happy ending – the charge was reduced to Driving without Due Care and I have been offered a Driver Improvement Course in lieu of prosecution.
