1) Because there are speed limits.
2) Because most of those limits are too low and arbitrary
3) Because in most cases no good reason has been    advanced for the limit.

Physics would not support the notion that the act of exceeding a number on a pole will cause an accident any more than not to exceed it won&#039;t.</description>
